After having a nearly new MS290 and MS361 disappear out of my box trailer, I finally bought a (barely) used MS360 yesterday, with a brand new bar & chain.
Supposed to be here Wednesday.

She says I better sell the MS310 and put the money back into the 'house fund'. I just asked her, "and who do you think will be building that new house?" I was going to just tell her to shut her skimmer but didn't feel I had the strength to get back up the second time!:buttkick:

And

And then there was my wife. OMG, she actually encourages my behavior which is NOT always a good thing... Does a wolf in sheep's clothing ring a bell??? hehehehehehehehe

 eh?

And then there was my wife.

You should post a full size picture of her for us

...sounds like you found a good one.

Last week, I was teasing my wife about needing a larger saw than my 036 about twice a year, which means I don't, of course. I said, "I'm gonna take that tax rebate thing and buy a 441, then I'll probably use it three or four times a year but I'm gonna buy it anyhow." She said, "Go for it, cool."

Of course, the thing is, I'm the one in the family who watches the money and pays the bills. So, she really doesn't care what I spend or what I spend it on. A lot of my friends would trade places, but they'd be broke. [Ok, maybe they'd still be happy with all those saws they'd buy...I can't say.]

Good ones are hard to find

Wife that is.

So when we 1st. moved to this property she was the one that went out and bought the 018 (I kept complaining about trimming out the trees with the the 044). Then when she saw my cut knee she went out and bought the chaps. Then when she saw the ham hock being cut by a chain saw she insisted I get better chaps. Then when the 018 was reaching the end of it's useful life span she suggested I replace it (in comes the 353). Then when I mention the 044 is beginning to show age and I'm thinking of a 460 she says go for it (in comes the 460). We go to an auction and I'm looking at two saws, one got too expensive so I didn't bother. The other I told her didn't have any compression and would need to be rebuilt, old saw, parts hard to find -- she says that's o.k., you need a project (in comes the 49SP). Yesterday I told her I found an 044 at another auction. That's nice she says, you have always said if you find another 044 you'd buy it.

I'm scared, really scared. What's she up to????????

You are going to be in so much much trouble some day. Now she has the "You have all those saws, and what do I have?" argument all lined up and waiting to drop it.

ents "I'm scared, really scared. What's she up to???????? "

run away as fast as you can as far as you can !!

Yup, I'm guessing you're the coyote not the roadrunner. You might want to keep your eyes out for that anvil...you know its coming.

Thats why you gotta get all the cool saws and other stuff you want while you're single, once you're married all that disappears.

Thats why I got the saw after I got married, so I would have a great reason to get away from her and still hang out with my buddies. It's working like a dream.

Hi all,

I finally got in on the act here, my husband spends too much time on here so I thought I would find out what the fuss was about! :)

You want your wife to like your saws you should get her one for herself. My husband found the ms260 was good for me but he insists on having this dozy safety chain on it.

Two years ago I went to the big saw shop and asked to buy a saw for my husband for christmas, the guy brings out the electric models for me to look at! He was somewhat suprised to hear me asking for the stihl ms660 and even more taken aback that i knew the bar size and chain type. All was ordered the only trouble i had was taking off the bar to fit it in my mini to get it home. I had to hid the stinking thing in the bottom of MY wardrobe for a week before christmas as well.

LOL :greenchainsaw: :greenchainsaw:
