The decal on the sprocket cover of my 3120 never really stuck on very well,l and now the adhesive isn't sticky at all.

Any suggestions on a sano way to affix a husky decal or should I just buy new decal? I would like a way that can be removed later should I ever decide to replace the decal.

There are a few products that you can use, but they will probably cost more than a new decal. I would just get another one, but clean the area with rubbing alcohol and allow to dry before affixing the sticker.

Stickers don't cut wood, but they sure do make a saw look a lot nicer. :)

i mix up some areldite expoxy resin to stick me decals back on. u only need a little

I am not familiar with the term areldite, but my concern with an epoxy is that it would be hard to clean off later to put a new decal on.

I thought about trying some 3m (77?) spray contact cement, as I assume a bit of acetone would take residue off later. I wonder if acetone would take the shine off the plastic (it sure eats certain plastics).

I'll probably just order another decal at some point. But hopefully it will be a while because I've had two parts orders recently already. My pattern, though, is to figure out some else I want to justify placing another order....

a thin or clear decal then i would try spray adhesive.
if it is like a plate, i would go with 3m weatherstrip adhesive. it is like contact cement but a little more forgiving and flexible. also if you have to you can generaly remove stuff that has been mounted with it.
i get mine at napa. they keep it right on the counter cuz the local mechanix use a thin layer for gasket adhesive during assembly.
