During the winter I made a small purchase (couple of chains) from Baileys because they seem to have decent prices. I called to place the order first and was told that I would not receive catalogs if I placed the order online, so I placed the order online. After I recieved the order, I called them again and told them specifically that I did not want to receive their catalogs. I just use my chainsaw infrequently around some land I own and don't need more junkmail.

Today I found one of their catalogs in the mail!!!!!!!!

Who can I get in touch with at Baileys to get my name off the mailing list?

Richard

edited: Thanks for all the replies. I have to agree that it some are hilarious, and it makes me glad to have started this thread. Now, did you know that Huskys are great and Stihls are pieces of .... (ring, ring, ring)

Give them a break man! If that's all you've got to complain about and you're going to discontinue patronizing them, you've got issues. I'd hate to think I did business with customers like that. Jees.

I placed an order with them on the phone the other day. One item was on back order. There other parts showed up at my door very quickly. I'm very pleased with their service, as are many others on this forum.

As a result, I will not order anything else from Baileys. It seems odd that the company would not want to keep their customers, even one who only placed small order.

Richard,

Kick your shoes off and lie on the couch. Dr. joat is here to help. Tell me ....... about your childhood ....... did your parents beat you? ..... did you wet your bed as a teenager? ..... ever mix pyrothechnics with a curiosity of animals?

.... will follow as patient responds ....

At your service,

Dr. joat

If thats a problem for you dont ever order anything from jc whitney. You will receive alot of catalogs!

Nice one

Damn, Joatmon, that was the best. I almost spit out my lunch laughing!

Seriously though, this guy has some real issues. Maybe daddy didn't love him enough, maybe too much?

If a catalog is that much of an annoyance to this guy, use it as a firestarter in the fireplace. Roll it up and hit yourself in the head with it, it may just help. If not, it will be funny for us to watch.

Harbor Freight's pretty plentiful with their catalogs too. Honestly, I hardly ever look at these more than once since I buy pretty much everything online, but our 3yo son loves this stuff. He goes throught the Baileys at least once a day, and its a heck of a lot better than barney or teletubbies!

Wow, a bit testy, aren't we?

I order stuff from Bailey's on occasion. They have screwed up a couple of orders, but made them right quickly. They are eager to please, answered the questions I had, shipped in a timely fashion, and have been great to do business with.

If everyone I did business with acted like Bailey's, the world would be a better place.

Patience my friend, no pun intended. I'm working on it. Notice how before I arrived on the scene, SawTroll was a crusty ole curmudgeon who hated all Stihls except for the 361? How his laser like grasp of the specs and an unfettered willingness to call out anyone with a less superior knowledge rained supreme? How his fondness for short bars seemed like unsavory fodder for a cheap B movie?

Now, after countless sessions on the internet couch of Dr. joat, SawTroll is a kind, gentle ole fellow with an even temper, a kind disposition, a propensity to overlook the shortcomings of others, and a willingness to share from his treasure troth of information with those less blessed without a hint of haughtiness.

Yes, give Dr. joat a little more coach time.

You live in your world,
And I'll live in mind,

Dr. joat

i get tons of catalogs each week from harbor freight and places like that even people sending me catalogs for clothing i just use them as packing material lol thats what shredders are good for

I'd rep you Dr. Joatmon if I could. That is one of the funniest things I've read on this site!

I have the Bailey's catalog next to my bed. It helps me sleep at night:)

If wishes were fishes...

Either that or a mate BORROWS 1 and you never see it again!
Also they may make a purchase so the company scores for sending you 2

Sorry about that. If you want to PM me with your customer number, I'll make sure you get removed from the mail list.
