Just wondering if you bought/use the Ultimate Wood Stove from AJ Robi? Are you happy with it? Would you recommend it? Thanks

I'm still contemplating what stove to buy for next season.
I have 4 in mind but am still leaning towards the J.A.Roby Ultimate for it's size, price and well made construction.
Costco here in Ontario sells them cheaper than other stores but I think Home Depot Canada will match it and take off 10% with their store promo.

Hey Stan, I know the area. We had a family cottage north of Kaladar, off Hwy 506 for 30+ years. I love the land up that way - with all the rock and lakes. I am just north of Toronto, in King Township. Like you I have some trees, but most of my stuff comes from the surrounding area. As Arborists take them down, I cart them away.

Advise, first read everything you can on this site and start asking questions. I am happy to answer any that you feel you don't want to make public. Second get a big saw and either buy or build a mill. I would suggest a Granberg Alaskan MKIII to start with. You can order direct or get one through Lee Valley Tools. Keep in mind that the published size is not the size of the cut. Subtract 4-6". If you are ever down this way, I would be happy to show you the ropes - as I know them so far....Steve.

Millwright, nylon factory Kingston, worked construction for 10 years.
Didn't know the welding/cad business was lucrative in Madoc. Guess it must be.
