I know, it's part of logging, and getting pictures is hard to do as well. We have to stay busy and keep on it. I was off this site for a while this summer and I cut some hammer wood that I was not able to photograph much. I like to get some shots of places I've worked that have good memories. I'm sure your a great faller, and I hope we all here from you in the Logging Forum.

Yeah, that certainly helps, my company enjoy's that same reputation here. Just hasn't been much to do, of course in times like these, rates get driven down, of course we all have to share some pain, it just seems like some companies want you to share a disproportionate amount! My rates have dropped, but they can only go so far until it doesn't make sense anymore. That being said, we have picked up more work in the last month or so, there definetely seems to be more optimism out there. Let's hope it keeps up!

Yeah, it's pretty slow up here too. Most of the coast has been shut down for a good portion of the year and the operations that were working are mainly shut down now for fire hazard! Can't win for losing! I've been luck to have one side that's managed to keep going for most of the year, it's close to the water and gets lots of sea fog.

How about you? Have you managed to keep busy or is it spotty?

Thanks for the good words. My partner ran half a mile, uphill, to the landing to radio for help. Another set of fallers gave me CPR 'til the helicopter showed up. All of these guys are at least sixty years old...good bunch to have around when things go wrong.
I'm doing fine. They don't want me to go back to work for a while but there's other things I can do in the meantime.
