I have an Oregon 73 chain 64 links that has 3-4 damaged drive links, cutters all look new. Would like to discuss options for getting it in use. In trying to salvage chains, I have no need for it on anything I own or the fire department I volunteer at. Do you have the equipment to take the 4 links out and ability to get it in use through your contacts? Looks like it was never sharpened and would be a good chain.

sir....I have been told that you are the guru of chains. I have started a small chain sharpening business in south texas . do you mind if I occasionally, or more, PM you w/questions? it would be a huge help as a lot of the terms and concepts are kinda confusing. i'm not some kid playing games, I retired after 27 years in law enforcement in texas . if you'd rather I not, no problem just let me know. THANKS john

Thanks for that reppage in the Chainmeister thread. We walk a find line between getting to the guts of an issue or new device, offering constructive criticism, calling BS when we see it whilst also staying respectful along the way. I hope I didn't cross the line...too much. Oh, and what the hell are you doing repping Matt? It'll only go to his head mate, which already has it's own weather patterns! :-)

Hi mate. Hey thanks for the rep in the "What are good Parts to keep on hand" thread. I've never lost a circlip while falling unlike many but I have lost a couple of bar nuts and muffler bolts.
