Rope Bridge

Using a wide back weaver sling style saddle right now with a double spreader snap connecting d rings and then carabiner to rope.. Getting a lot of cosmetic wear on carabiner from it rubbing on steel spreader snap.. It only appears to have worn of the color to aluminum so far but wondering how much it could take.... Or if anyone has ever bout or made a rope bridge to connect the two d rings....

Thanks guys, I did get a steel one and all is well on that end ... But I also just bought the new tribe onyx harness and I am lovng it! Just alittle more adjusting and it will be great!
