Shindawia 500

[boec0020]

boec0020 I have a shindawia 500 and the kill switch doesn't work. The saw starts and runs great but the only way to shut it off is to remove the spark plug boot. I replaced the switch and the problem continues. Any ideas?

Check all the wires from the coil to the switch. If they look good unplug from switch, start saw and ground wire if it does switch is bad

i ended up just running another wire from the switch to ground it. No idea why the switch wasnt grounded
