Spiking MotorMix

Got some Stihl MotorMix to run in saws before storage.

Sometimes, I need to use a saw for a few cuts only and will just run in the mix to save time.

The smell of this mix, which has Stihl Ultra oil in it, is just foul. Like burning onions in some ways and headache producing.

Anyway, i like to run my saws on 40-1 and the mix is 50-1. Does anyone spike theirs with more oil? If so, how many oz. of oil will change a quart of 50:1 to 40:1?

I know this is OCD, but I got the CAD.

.15 of an ounce extra should get you to 40 to 1,its not much.

You need to add .16oz of oil to make 40:1
