Been having trouble starting seems like too much compression. I installed a compression release from Bailey,s and it works great. Now it seems to be over heating to the point when it is shut off is smokes.
I haven,t gave a good cleaning yet to see if the fins are clean. Other than that it stasts and runs good. What can I try.

Might try readjusting the carb or it might be time for a carb kit. just throwing it out there. Might be running too lean. Might also have a small air leak leaning it out

I took that for granted but if it's not sharp it might be running at too high rpm too long. Good call
