Hello everyone. Figured I would finally join lol. Been doing tree work for over 20 years for a couple different tree co. in Oh, Mi, Mo, and now Pa... Climb, bucket, some heavy equipment, spraying and 1 year management (however back to trimming now). Thinking about finally getting my ISA so I hoping I can get a little info here.

Acer, or anyone else... I assume you have you ISA's? How hard was it? Unfortunately I'm a very hands on learner so I'm very nervous. Especially about tree identification part. Know most of my trees but not sure how I'll do just looking at a picture.

No worries about passing the ISA Cert Arb exam. Even a baboon can do it.
ISA dumbed it down years ago (no more tree ID) so more folks would pass it on their first attempt.
Just gotta memorize that Study Guide, and you'll be a Union member in no time.

Yea, I'm sure if you've been in the industry this long.. You'll have no problem. Pick up the study guide, and you're all set.
