Hey guys, I'm looking into buying a chipper and am interested in s Morbark M8D.
It's the right size for me being part time and not needing to chip lsrge trunks.

There's a 2013 model , 44hp with 300 hours on around me.
He's asking $16k and has all maintenance records. Machine is a beauty.

I don't mind it chipping slower than a bigger machine with 120hp as I'm currently stacking brush in a dump trailer.

Any negatives about the machine?

wondering the same thing here in aus just that it's about $39,000 new for one.

I like the low weight so I can pull with small Jap pickups domestically for garden work and small tree jobs.

tossup with a bandit 90 much older and 500kg heavier 2000 vs 1500 kg
and a quarter of the price

I didn't realize Morbark made small machines. The one a friend owns has 2 engines, one is 700hp, the other I think 300. The big engine runs the chipper, the small one runs all the hydraulics. Tow it with a semi truck.

That's nuts lol. I definitely don't need that
