A local I have been buying tractors and mowers from since I was 18 invited me over a while back for a cookout and off in the trees I noticed a 20'x3'x8' dump trailer wasting away. I walked out and looked at it and made a laughable offer of $1500 and he actually agreed! Wrote him a check and began work the next day cut off the wall extensions built new doors and replaced all the brakes backing plates and all. Everything works like new, the pump is strong, the tires show barely if any wear, no dry rot and most of the lights work as well. The floor is washboard rough but I guess that was expected.
As soon as I slow down off to sandblasting it goes. 20170114_133514.jpg 20170218_152338.jpg

Mounting the new doors, welded them in a jig to make sure they'd be square. build from 2" x 2" x 1/4" square tubing and 1/4" plate... they're heavy.

Wow! Sweet deal! I wish I had a larger dump trailer on some of our removals. 14' just isn't big enough....

Only 2 pics load up.

$1500... wow. Could have sold it around here for 8-10k and the buyer would have been tickled at the deal

Nice set up.What kind size mini skid steer do you have Boxer? What can it lift, what kind of fork set up?

It's a Vermeer s800tx it was the stoutest thing on the market when I bought it but now boxer has the new 950hd and it has caught my attention... I have a grapple from Quick attach and a stump grinder

Real nice mini, was thinking of a little smaller like a Boxer 525D, they say they have a 2100lb tip rating and tracks that retract to 36" to get into gates, don't know if Vermeer has anything like that. How's the grinder work?I have a wireless remote on my grinder,up here in New England rocks everywhere, even in beded in stumps, good to be where the wheel is to see what your grinding. If i had your setup would be hitting everything but the lottery!

I stand beside it when grinding put a toggle switch on the operator presence sensor visibility is no issue
