Found a McCullough Eager 3.4 Beaver, seller claims it has great compression and needs only a carb rebuild.
Although it has not run in 3 yrs and piston/cylinder is still great.
Asking all of $30 and bottle of Shine!

Stihls are my comfort zones.
Whats you studs thoughts on this saw, reliability, and parts...any modded & ported possibilities?

Thanks
Reg

I once thought ugly, but after refurbing 6 of the Timber Bear, PM 610, Eager Beaver 3.7, Silver Eagle genre...their looks kinda grow on you. Kinda heavy...be easier on your back by picking up your push mower by the deck and use the handle as the bar.

It's a cinder block with two handle and a bar, but will grunt in a cut. Heavy a crap but is a good firewood saw, keep it stock, no mm, loud enough as it is. May want to check to make sure the oiler is working, if not they can be found on fleabay.
