    A lot depends on your stove and home insulation. I'm 20 miles north of the Ohio line and I use between 5 and 6 full cords heating 1900 sq.ft.. I also budget 6 cords for each year.

    Agreed and you need to be able to cycle the valves open and closed with the recoil starter and pick up your feeler gage values within .001", .002" at the most when the valves are again closed.
