    ms660 carb issue

I can get the saw to run for a minute but it is hard to start, smokes, or just floods out. The carb is a walbro WJ-69. I got a kit from baileys and they gave me a kit and...

ok how many of you have had a close call

This was stupid but it makes me think when I am cutting with someone else now. I was cutting with 2 friends and one of them was bucking a log behind me. I was not paying attention to the others and was in my own world, only thinking about what I was going to cut next. I stepped back and...

    McCulloch Chain Saws

i dont know what you mean by flat back. I am not that familiar with mac saws. The only numbers on the carb are 63682 and it is flat on the bottom with four big screws on the bottom plate. Is this a flat back carb or something else?

    McCulloch Chain Saws

yes the 895 is a beast to say the least, the carb took a sht on me but once i can find a kit it will be back in the game. I love the look on peoples faces when they see and hear that monster in wood. One day when I have the money I would like to change it to 404 and run a very big bar on it.

    can I haul 3 cords

Thanks for all of the reply's. Yes trailer brakes are more than a must, I don't have to haul it all at once its just if I can its that much less fuel and that means more $$ for me. Now if I can get some time off work I will haul the wood and report back when ever that may be. Thanks Nick............

    066 big bore

another problem I had was the av mounts. After cutting for a day I noticed that there was a lot of movement from them, I think that the 42'' bar and using the dogs a bit may have torn one of them. Do they make stronger mounts for bigger bars?

    066 big bore

I just got the thing put together and ran it this weekend. I helped a friend cut a pine tree up. We did not have a tape but my 42'' bar didn't get all the way through in parts of it. The 066 loved it, the people there where in ow at how it cut. I felt a tingle in my pants as it was buried and i...
