    We don't pull many but we hook a chain to the pulling vehicle and hook that to the rope when we do. If the rope breaks the chain absorbs the shock from the rope. If that makes sense. Only ever had one rope break and the chain worked. No chain and I might have got wacked with the rope.

    Like @ZinTrees said above. Plus have a good escape route when they start to fall. Dead limbs can snap of when the tree is falling and become a projectile. Hard hat a must!! Good luck and be safe.

    Did research on it. From what I see Kubota doesn't say synthetic is OK to use when it comes to warranty stuff. Looks like they do make a synthetic blend.

    My tractor dealer sells New Holland and Kubota. I'm glad my tractor is blue cause that orange shite is pricey. :surprised3:

    If your generic RU is 41%. You need at least a 5% solution. Mix some non ionic surfactant with it to make it stick better to the leaves.

    I'm with Uncle Mike on the stringy wood. Hickory. Splits better after sitting a while but not touching the ground and covered preferably.
