I like working on Husq 2** and 3** series. When they can make me mad trying to shove the carb compartment back together on a 4** series saw, I shudder to think what Honda might do.

I agree only with the engine part. When Honda makes the entire machine, like their snowblowers or mowers, they over complicate things. The engines are a dream to work on. Their machines can be a nightmare.

I'm looking for the front half of the cylinder cover. I have the cover for the air filter, but will buy the set if available.

Like the others, I'm talking about people bringing them to us to work on.

The connector was used by the factory to put two pieces of fuel line together. It likely was used to speed the production line. When you put new line in, you can throw that out. The duckbill goes in the fuel cap. Those caps are cheap so don't waste your time trying to reinstall it, as it rarely...

I can't see Honda putting out just any other old chainsaw. Seems the way they got so big is by being a leader, not doing the some old thing. Their very small four stroke is one of the few that are worth anything or I'd bet they're playing with direct injection behind closed doors.

If its gonna be a keeper, I barely keep track of the money. If its one that I find interesting to work on and to use a little but plan on selling it later on, I build them well, but end up spending enough that I usually only break even on. Beyond that, it has to be next to free to get and fix...

We put up one with lean-to's on 3 sides thinking wood would be under one. Naw, equipment/toys filled up all of them in a heartbeat. Never big enough.

According to some threads here, some dealers may not understand that chains can be swapped, so they might refuse to do it.

Loan a saw and they may hurt themselves or, more likely, my saw. Neither are good. Loan a skidder and while sitting safely inside a "civilian army tank" they will destroy their splitter, their truck, their house, their garage. ---Priceless---
