Just got mine tonight. My 8# maul is getting very, very scared of going into retirement. I just exploded about six 18" oak rounds (two with crotches) in as many minutes. :bowdown: Time will tell if this thing holds up for me.

That's a good looking machine. After splitting for a few hours by hand last weekend, that sure looks tempting! How much does that model run if you don't mind me asking?
Be careful with the steroids for quick treatment - two people I know are now more susceptible than ever to poison ivy after getting shots/pills. Much more severe cases as well.
I have a Craftsman 42cc saw that I use for flush-cutting bushes, a Stihl MS260 for smallish felling and limbing, and a Stihl 044 for bucking larger wood. It really wasn't a "plan" per se, but more like dumb luck and circumstance.
Firewood kiln: An all black metal building with a little ventilation built out in the open to receive full sun in the summer. I would imagine the temperature inside that building would dry whatever is in there pretty quick.
