I just got this bar in the mail and was wondering if it was normal to have a gap at the end of the bar mounting cut out? This is a 28" husky large mount. I have a 20" and 24" power match bar that do not have that gap so this seems a little strange.

So can someone help me out, I am trying to decide which chain to order a few 28" loops of oregon 72LGX or 72LPX. I cannot figure out the difference between the two. Any recommendation would greatly appreciated. I will be running this in mostly hardwoods on a husky 365. Thanks.
