If you read the title of the thread he is working on a plastic stihl, Einstein. Thinking back the first Time Sert repair I did years ago was on a 064. Do you even work on saws or use them or do you just generally run your mouth about things you don't know what you are talking about?

Correct, that setup is for filling a "airbag" to act as a felling wedge. I don't think I've actually seen the "airbag" portion of the setup.

I had this happen years ago on a 181 I had. I took the trigger out and it looked like a piece of the operator presence lever was floating around in there making the trigger stick. I cleaned it out and installed a new lever and no problems since.
