Do you have a point and shoot thermometer? I try to keep mine below 150 and the max temp you want to see is below 180. I think 130 would be considered hot to the touch so I would recommend you get a temp gauge to make sure it’s in the safe zone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As long as the the grommet is the same going into the tank you should be able to put the 600 dual filter into it. I was surprised by the double filter when I first got my 600. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a newer version of the kit. I haven’t figured out how the exhaust block offs are supposed to work. so I still use the rubber hose inbetween the exhaust and cylinder. The carb block offs are fantastic though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have you owned a top handle before? They tend to have a different feel. Post a video if you can. My 150 will jump around at idle on a flat surface, that’s normal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pull the carb and replace the fine screen I would bet it is plugged with debris and oil. I would recommend against the carb cleaner idea though, it doesn’t play well with the oil in the mix fuel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

241 gets my vote every time. Have owned one for 5 years and it’s fantastic. They do come in non mtronic as well. There should be no issues with the saw sitting on a shelf in good conditions, hopefully it was never fueled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s the chain grabbing that causes the bar hop. File the cutters down but leave the rakers. I’ve had that happen a lot with new Oregon and husky chain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
