    Keeping your saw clean

If you cut Doug fir the normal front color for Stihl is red. Switch to huskies it will match. I've never done more than wipe or brush it off. Gives the Saw I work for a living look. This was brand new when pic was taken

What's the current favorite lightweight bar?

Here's what the Cannon super bars are really good for they take Purdy pics. They are very rigid at the cost of being heavy and really expensive. I use the bar once in a while but it's the light weights for me.

What's the current favorite lightweight bar?

I've ran Stihl Oregon and tsumara. Thing I noticed most is how floppy the Oregon bars are. No complaints about the 28" tsumara very happy with 32 and 36 Stihls. Lot of huskies around here with Stihl LW bars seems like everybody likes them. I have a Canon super bar most rigid bar you'll ever use...

Real men don't wear ear plugs

I got to ride with Jim Pomeroy back in the day when I was a member of the motorcycle club that ran the Jolly Roger's track on Kent's west hill. Him Chuck Sun and Buck murphy showed up on one of our closed practice days learned a lot in a hurry.

Real men don't wear ear plugs

I am 60 years old. I've raced motocross , done lots of pistol and rifle shooting an airline mechanic by trade exposed to riveting and countless engine take off power tests and been running chainsaws since I was young including a 5 year stint running them 24 hours a week. My hearing is equal to...

You all need to recycle your carburetor based chainsaws and get the 500i

I have a 500I and in your bare shelves world and the 500 failed I guess since I keep more than 1 saw in my inventory if it failed I could use my 260 pro , 032 , 056 , 066 , 661or even my Mac 250. Why do so many people think if you buy a 500 I its the only saw you would keep. I've always made...

What saw would you grab right now.....

Since when someone says they have a 20" tree and I show up and it's any where from 12-32" in diameter I'd bring the saw that finally got me to stop missing my 10mm 044 Light enough for small stuff big enough for when they understate the tree size.

Loaned my Homeite 330 to a guy; and he ran it with straight gas.

The times I will loan chain saws. 1. Never ever ever ever 2.Im the operator. If a guy can straight gas a saw probably also has the abilities to cut himself with it or drop a tree on him self someone else a house or vehicle
