I was actually just given a 038 mag. He said it ran but he has cracked the exhaust several times and says it need replaced and fixed, just didn't feel like putting the time into it. Any suggestions? anyone know what might be the problem. He said it got real hot too? I'm not technical at all...

Yeah you are comparing buying everything above used to buying the bandit setup brand new. If your going to compare you have to compare equally. I think people were saying that a used bandit model, was around 14-16k correct me if i'm wrong. So really your total cost of 28k is 12k more.

I learned on a versatile, they are great saddles, but in terms of light they are def not. But a good buy if weight isn't your main focus, ohhh and they normally have the seat, i prefer leg straps. Thats another thing you want to address

I have tryed the treeMotion on, feels good but as i said i just tryed it on. Couldn't tell you anything about how it responds in a work enviroment. If you like using SRT system i would suggest the treeFlex or sequoia srt friendly model. I heard the TM is kinda hard to set up for SRT. Once again...

i just got the dolmar catalog today, it shows that it can come with either, the 3/8 comes with the powermatch bar, instead of the .325 pro-lite. I'm reading this straight from the catalog, the bar and order # for the powermatch is 431 045 014 and chain type 72LP68 hope this helps.

24-28 ok thanks, i think the one at work is a little shorter than that, maybe more like 18 but i could be wrong. In terms of the air filter i heard the same thing but am not to worried cause i do a daily check and clean of the air filter. Its easy and can make the saw last a lot longer.
