    DHT Splitter Review

I have a 22 ton splitter from dht prolly put about 25+ cord through it and I haven't had one single issue it split everything in it's sight. Only issue I had was the welds breaking at the foot connecting the main beam to the foot, contacted dht and they sent me one free of charge and no delivery...

What chainsaws do you recommend for new tree service?

in time I'll be selling the 391. Right now can't justify it after getting the 362 and just yesterday purchasing a 6x12 lopro dump trailer. no need for the 241 for me I sold the 290 to make my purchase on the 362. Ever since then I couldn't have been more happier

Good choice I have the 193t and 362c-m both are good saws just remembered to take care of them and they will take care of you. Gl with business. Let me know how you like the 461 thinking about getting one myself.

Fine dust getting past air filter

I've had to replace a carb already in my ms391 because of fine saw dust getting into it. It always had a sharp chain on it as well. I'm the type of guy that blows my saws off after every use. Fine saw dust is no good deff will do some damage if not properly taken care of.

    BEST 20" MID LEVEL CHAINSAW

By far excellent choice I run a 20" bar and skip chain on my 362 I love the set up after the first tank it got better and so on with each tank, I also run 93 octane in all my saws though. Save your pennies :) your be happy with the 362

    BEST 20" MID LEVEL CHAINSAW

If you are thinking about a ms 391, I'd try and save another $100-200 and pick up the pro ms362c-m. Honestly you can't beat both saws I have both but if I had to do it again I'd save money and go with a pro saw the power of my 362 is unbelievable. I honestly think it has more power then my 391...

Moving up to bigger trees...need a bigger saw.

Ms261 c-m is another option yes it's a pro saw but it will last for a while plus give you the power you need

This seems like a good deal?

Them Sur tracs are really nice. I've looked at some my dealer has and just the final product is nice and well built. I'm looking to buy a 6x12 dump trailer. Id be leary though on the dual piston,IMO if you can afford a scissor lift I'd go with that.

Moving up to bigger trees...need a bigger saw.

What size bar are you thinking on going with? If you want to go with a 20-25 inch bar and you don't want to go with a pro saw I'd say get the ms391. If you want to spend the extra money on pro then you can't beat the MS 362 c-m. I have both and I love them I retired my old 290 and bought the 362...

gonna try selling firewood this year

When I first started 4 years ago I had a half ton truck an axe a small 5 ton electric splitter and my Ms 290 first year I sold 3 cord after that each year got better. Right now as you can see in my signature I've come pretty far last year I sold 16 cord. In the process of buying a 6 x 12 dump...

best cart/wheelbarrow for delivering wood to customers

When I deliver wood I charge to deliver. My average delivery fee is $30 and if they want it stacked it's automatically $50 per cord to stack it. But when I pull up with truck and trailer that's typically where the wood gets tossed off at, unless I gotta back the trailer up in the driveway.
