The master switch spring is likely worn. Every 1125 I go through gets a new one.

    Keeping your saw clean

When you want to talk tough on the chainsaw forum put the @ so dudes think you're serious, but then purposely butcher their name so no alert is sent. Then again, it looks like folks had OP nailed after the first post. Fûcking TAPE!?!?

Decent source for AM piston/cylinder kits?

We call this place the Stihl dealer parts counter. Surprised it took four days for one China saw person to chime in. Glad you got the info you wanted.

New Husqvarna 572 today - first impressions and thoughts about kit saws

Why buy nine of something you can only use one of at a time? This ill logic seems rampant within the China saw community...

    372xp Rebuild Stumbling

Tough to troubleshoot over the net, but sounds like it might be short on fuel. Maybe the line is pinched or something isn't right in the tank. Other things to check would be running it without a filter and a clogged spark screen.

    357xp cylinder

Well, you need some bevel there. If you're not cutting the opening any bigger it shouldn't be a problem. You could widen it to clean up that missing plating on the flywheel side of the port. Depending on how much skirt is left at the bottom before free port you could probably open it up below...

    357xp cylinder

Looks like some more transfer to remove above the exhaust port. You may want to sand it by hand to avoid removing anymore plating around the port. Also it looks like a ball hone may have been used. Don't do that.

    Stihl vs Husqvana

If I were logging it would have to be Stihl or Husky. In my area, and we're pretty well served with all the brands. I even have an Efco brick and mortar close. Got datamn'd lake kids... It will be interesting to see if Husky phases them out after the 592 comes full pull. Remember when the...

    Stihl vs Husqvana

In the age of the internet, this is nonsensical. There are plenty of "vintage" saws out there with parts support long dried up that are still making chips. I'd be more concerned about NEEDING parts for the newer, less well built models. I mostly see people that have never had to source...
