Who makes the best Lineman pliers and Diagonal cutters?

I suspect not even in the same sport, much less ball park. While the powered stapler is cool, it's monster big to haul around. I agree, fencing pliers do very little well, but I have two pair. As said, pulling staples and I like the wire cutter.

12v Hydraulic Pump ground strap fried

Other than a fluid leak under pressure, not really. My choice would be to locate the fluid outside of the cab and close to the lift mechanism, but that's just me. Why is it inside the cab?

Who makes the best Lineman pliers and Diagonal cutters?

I figured as much. Very true, I think they may be as good as anything for cutting heavier gauge wire.

    Scrounging Firewood (and other stuff)

Pretty much true with any Jeep branded vehicle, on a quiet night you can hear them rusting. My 1987 Comanche was a Northern California truck and is pretty much rust free. I keep it under cover, but here in the great Pacific North Wet, I need to do something on the floorboards. I pulled all of...

Who makes the best Lineman pliers and Diagonal cutters?

Have you tried fencing pliers? The cutting notch on the side is a bypass cutter. https://channellock.com/product/85/ I always use them for cutting heavier gauge wire, like tying up corner braces. For relatively soft wire, Klein Lineman's pliers, but I have ruined more than one set cutting...

    firewood score all free

I would, since you're giving it away. Might only be in the outside pit but half of the fun there is tossing another chunk on the pile!

Oooo, you long wheelbase 93 1/2" guys with your smooth ride.... I am seriously considering stretching my CJ-5 to CJ-6 length.

Anyone have experience with eco-lawns or meadow mixes?

It depends on what mower you are speaking of, but that's probably accurate.

Have you considered swapping the wheel's/tires for something like a wheelbarrow tire? Hazard Fraught has some that use a solid tire, so you wouldn't have a problem with thrown debris puncturing a pneumatic tire. If that size is too big, they also have a smaller one.

Not sure what to charge her?

I would bet those were cut with the corded electric saw shown at the edge of the second photo, and it had all it could handle cutting off what you see. I doubt there is any nefarious intent by the cutter, they just were overmatched by the stump. looking more closely at the first pic, wood on the...

    Stihl bars

I agree. From a manufacturing standpoint, I suspect they would make more money by not having multiple mounts. I suspect it's an engineering issue, and the engineers won over the accountants.

    Stihl bars

While Stihl calls those saws something different, I think I only mentioned the pro saws. And I agree, the overlap can make it confusing. MS 271 also uses the 3003 mount. https://www.stihlusa.com/products/chain-saws/all/

    Stihl bars

I would guess the difference is in the way they measure a 3003 mount and a 3005 mount. The 3003 will fit anything from an 024 to an 066, the bar studs are in a different place on the saws. The 3005 mount is not used on their professional line saws, but I think fits anything up to your 025.

Briggs & Stratton Ready Start eingine.

They are Good Enough. It is just a tool, you already have it, it's a lot more efficient to do a little work on one you already have.

    Redwood Fence posts

Good Point, I am working on a deck expansion, too. The deck on our house is only 8' wide. Put a table and chairs on it and it get's pretty narrow to walk by. I would still have the issue of turning slabs into boards. It seems like the edging mill is pretty affordable, and the 044 and a short bar...

    Redwood Fence posts

I have cedar posts that are more than 50 years old that are still standing. That's what led me to think the redwood would work better. My thought was to saw them then treat the part that will be in ground contact. The treated "posts" it can buy are garbage, green salt treatment with poor to...

    Redwood Fence posts

When you mention Beam Saw, I started looking. All I find locally is a bar and chain attachment to a worm drive saw. I thought I saw on another thread you have a giant circular saw? Where do you find those?

    Redwood Fence posts

I am wondering if it's a crazy idea. I had a 50 year old tree taken out at one of my buildings about 4 years ago, it had a lot of limbs that were growing straight up. A few came off, one lodged in the roof, so it came down. The solid trunk didn't get cleaned up, so it's just sitting there...

    Scrounging Firewood (and other stuff)

I have a 5.3 in my work truck, we looked at lifter issues. There a couple of ways to disable the Active Fuel Management system, anecdotally it helps. My truck is a COVID chip shortage truck, so that system isn't on it. A couple of people that work for me have the 3.0 Duramax and love it. The...
