    $200 Husqvarna, worth it?

If you are going to pay that much for one make sure it has the three bolt muffler on it.

A ms660 is worth a good top end and crank.

My first Husky a 372 XP Xtorque ??????????

I have not seen pictures of the saw, but it could have several hundred hours on it and still look new. In my eyes though if someone takes almost 40% loss of the bat then they are NEEDING to be rid of it. If I get a gut feeling something is stolen I turn away. If I can prove it is stolen then...

Husky 562XP - Nothing But Problems!!

If you have a good service shop Husqvarna will help you. Just because you hear six months does not make it so. The fuel system on all Husqvarna saws has a two year warranty, and you can get a good will warranty for up to a year after purchase. Does not matter what manufacture you deal with...

    Stihl oil seal puller

The Stihl seal puller is really worth the money on the smaller saws. For the larger seals I tend to pick up the Husqvarna seal puller.

    Ht 131

If it was mine I would first check out the tube assembly to make sure it did not need any work. If that is good then move onto the engine. First aspect of the engine I would check would be the valves. Adjust them and inspect to make sure the cam is working correctly. Then move to the fuel...

Husky low smoke oil vs XP oil

The oils have a different JASO certification. The xp is a c rating and the low smoke is a d. The xp had too many visual particulates to make the d rating. I use xp. Husqvarna will uphold its warranty with any brand oil you use as long as it is JASO certified.

Looking for a string trimmer (Kombi?)

I would be nice if Stihl had a km70. That would be a great unit. In my opinion Stihl has the best split shaft unit on the market. Do you self a favor and get one of the commercial models. Talk up a deal to the dealer and see if you can get the attachments at cost if you buy the unit with them.

    562XP oiler issue

I let a logger put about 50hours on a 562xp to get his opinion. He basically said the saw was like working with a lighter 372xp. He had no issues with the saw and it performed well. However, he would not buy one since a 365x-torq can be bought at around $620.00 and he can go anywhere and pick...

    562xp Trouble

Oh. Make sure the coil is properly grounded. Remove the bolts and clean the mounts on the coil and crankcase.

    562xp Trouble

When you pull the saw out of the box you are suppose to run the saw under a load for 5 minutes. I believe the computer on the carb will read four codes, and you must have the computer program to make a new carb work. I let a logger run one for a demo and he said it was like holding a 372xp in...

    3120 088 880 084 vs 125

Do you mean the auto oiler or with by using the auxillary oiler? I like the design of the auto oilier. They are made to last the lifetime of the saw. Just had to replace the one on my 088 which set me back $113.00.

    3120 088 880 084 vs 125

I have an 088 and a sp125 and these are the differences I found. The Stihl hits higher rpms, but is easier to stall. The Stihl has a better anti-vibe than the Mac hands down. However. The mac will pull a 4 foot bar just as well or maybe a little better than the 088. The Mac also has a...
