357XP Dropped and now it leaks oil, help!

I looked thru the spark plughole and the cylinder itself is still all crosshatches, not a single vertical scratch that I would see, so I'm thinking the power is maybe just in my head. I was cutting some dry Hard Maple, so Maybe the wood cut hard! I guess I was just "on alert" with the new oil...

357XP Dropped and now it leaks oil, help!

So I was cutting with my 357XP and in between cuts I ran out of fuel, so I walked the saw back to the truck in a hurry to get the fuel and oil to refill it. I tripped on a branch and ended up dropping or almost throwing the 357XP and it landed in the woods on leaves and mulch, but it landed...

Wisconsin's been on 10% ethanol for a few yrs now. The Shell stations sell 92 octane that is ethanol free! That's all I ever buy. Kwik trip sometimes has it too

    1999 346xp

Pull the spark plug out and throw a new one in it, then run it some and then LOOK at the spark plug. If you run it lean, you can burn it down in a short time. If you hold it wide open (out of the wood), it should "flutter, break-up a little, etc". If it revs smooth all the way to wide...

Made a bar and chain rack!

I made this quick, so all my chains and bars are separated and organized! Nothing special, but it works great! :hmm3grin2orange:

well i pretty well struck out today

My dads got a nice Sachs 116 that he lets me use, and Its impressive! Its torquey ass heck! It makes my Husky 351 look like a hunk of junk, but it is a little heavy. It "feels" bigger than 52 cc as far as the power it has! I don't use it much, but I really like it!

Looking at Damaged 346 XP. Ideas?

Here are some pics of the "other" 346XP I bought this week! Not, the "parts saw or whatever the broken one is we were talking about in here". Its the Old Version. Got $150 in it. I tried to get pics of the piston/ring, but camera angle was really hard...... Pics in next post........

Looking at Damaged 346 XP. Ideas?

The more you guys tell me, the more I think its a parts saw. I bet it was smashed and they threw on all different covers to make it useable. The real question is what saw really WAS it, before they molested it? I'll look at tag if I get back there, but I really think I want to stay far far...
