I forgot to mention that the muffler opening has been enlarged sometime before me owning it. I did advance the timing slightly, I have on ever 5100 that I have owned and they all have liked it!

5105 has an easy start and it’s predecessor was the 5100 which did not have an easy start. There was a small overlap where dolmar had a 5105 that had a cat muffler but was not an easy start.

Another one of my friends saws, 10mm 044 with aftermarket muffler cover and Eagan Performance foam filter. He says it's all original otherwise. I ran a tank through it yesterday and it ran and oiled like it should, the chain does creep ever so slightly at an idle. I have ran 3 tanks through it...
