Yes. 2K is supposed to be really good. It is what Leon used on some of his Homelite resto's. You can also get clear in rattlecans for top coating Engine enamel.

Boomer, just remember any rattlecan you choose probably won't be gas resistant. You will need a gas resistant clear over top.

You can normally buy all the linkage with brackets for the decomp on ebay for $12 in excellent shape.
I had to buy set for mine.

Not in the service manual. Very strange. I believe 7 to 10 thou is the average.
Someone else can jump in if they know for sure.

Put the new rings in the bore and push them down a little. Usually with the piston. You can measure the ring end gap with feeler gauges.
I've seen new AM rings that had almost zero gap to way to large a gap.

If you used an After Market oil pump, that might be the problem. The last one I bought was undersized and went in too deep. It was too loose. So no way to use it.
Put in an Oem Stihl pump and it fit fine.

Bedford is this the saw you did the video on?
Did you ever put a correct tank vent on it.?
If I remember correctly you used an AM carb on it. Some of these carbs work great but some fail.
I've had pretty good luck with the one I'm running on my 021.

It doesn't look symmetrical in the pic.
Do you mind taking it off and posting a pic.
Either way the top grubb screw should be almost even with the top of the hose. Bottom grub screw doesn't look high enough.
Not sure if that would make
a difference or not.
The OEM Stihl vent is about the...
For working on Stihl chainsaws I like the t27 scrench that comes with the Kombi system. It's kinda like a
T handle on steroids.
The diameter of the shaft is too large for pulling cylinders, but it works great for everything else.

Did you take the c clip off the stud that holds the chainbrake assembly, or is it missing.?
Wouldn't cause your problem, but I wanted to make sure you had it.

Flywheel is $19, and the coil is about $6.
Did you read the reviews on this saw? A common problem is they shipped with a bad coil.

If you're using a mobile device with Tapatalk app, their is no way to change a for sale ad to sold.
The tools aren't their at the top of the page.
