A shoe rack/bench made out of yellow poplar I milled from a neighbors front yard. It's my wifes Christmas present

yeah they are heavy but there is no replacement for displacement when you need to cut something really big. I guess you could buy a double ended bar and run two 372's and have 144cc's when milling. :chainsaw::rock2:

My mill is aluminum. It's a grandberg. I haven't milled with the 2100 yet. I've used my husky 181se and a 441Stihl. Both with 28" bars. The 441 doesn't hurt my hands but the 181 does. I was considering a remote throttle already but now I am thinking it's a necessity for any extended milling...

I'm also gonna set up a remote throttle. These saws vibrate a lot. my hands go numb quickly.

After some break in time. I'm gonna use this saw on a granberg alaskan mill. I've got two 30" red oaks to mill this coming spring.

Good looking saw. They are beasts. Biggest bar on have is 28 inches. I think I need a bigger bar. Maybe a 42.

    Best mill for 300

My alaskan 24" mill has been money well spent. I also got the 9' aluminum rails for the first cut. This spring I am planning on getting the 5' extension and a 48" mill so I can handle bigger logs. The only problem I had was the u bolts that set the depth of cut stripped. It was my fault for over...

    Stihl MS 460 cylinder question

Kinda looks like plating coming off. It doesn't look like any piece of bearing or excessive wear. I'm always leary of anything above the exhaust port.

They are getting hard to find parts for. I couldn't find rings for mine. I can replace my two thin ring piston with a single ring version but it had 150lbs compression before I tore it apart. So I didn't freshen it up.
