I run a 16 3/8 Tsumura L&T with a full skip EXL in the soft clean wood and it hauls ass! I run my factory 18 325 non safety chain for the dirty jobs.

Everyone thinks they are sitting on a gold mine anymore.

I mostly see them on wild land fire fighting saws. I assume to protect the tank when set on embers or felling a burning tree.

If I screw up my starting procedure mine will flood. I didn’t use my decomp either until it broke in because it would really flood.

As a side note the 357xp air filter is a cheap mod and does offer gains. More filter area.

Aside from porting you can open up the muffler, run a 32:1 mix and tune it a little on the rich side.
