People can't get good help often because they don't pay enough. $14.60 is a joke and insulting to anyone that shows up, works hard and has the capacity to learn. How would you like to work for that? Treat your people as well as you can. It will pay off.

We have more corn and beans than timber but we do some occasional clearing and removals. There are a few custom band mills around but nothing large. Transport isn't a problem. I just thought I'd ask for suggestions before hitting Google for mills and log buyers. Thanks.
