In the PacNW, BC and Southeast Alaska. Timber Fallers work full time falling and bucking. It's what they do. I don't know what the loggers do. Don't care. Pro Fallers work generally 6 to 7 hours a day trigger time. Day in day out.

24 months ain't happening ! If a saw makes it thru an 8 month season of falling timber, it is ancient ! 6 1/2 hours a day , 5 or 6 days a week. 2 1/2 gallons of saw gas a day. I've never had one make it past 6 months. Either brand. And I've had Lots of both. I absolutely expect 3 months...

If you let the saw do the cutting , with a good chain and bar. The 4 cube saw cut just fine. I've fell timber up to 96" across the stump with my madsen modified 044 Stihl with a 34" Sugi Hara bar and chisel ground full ship 3/8 chisel chain. It did Great. No it didn't cut as fast as a bigger...

YUP. That's the one! THANK YOU ? This is one of my 460s with the smaller diameter tubing. These Weber Custom handlebars are The best for cutting with big insulated gloves or mitts on. As a plus , like the Pro Safety it is a great chain catcher.
