    Oregon Speedcut 95TXL .325 VS 92VXL 3/8lp

I was asked to do a shorter more real life video of the Oregon speedcut 95 TXL so I did a quick felling comparison between it and the 91VXL (3/8LP) Both are 16" bars but the 3/8lp is a bit shorter I used the little Dolmar 421. Interesting fact is the width of the cutter on the 95TXL is the same...

    Great little feller

I really like this little saw. this is exactly why I got this saw. for felling small sub 14" trees. it has just enough torque to handle the bore cutting for all my leaners. Little Dolkita 421 is a great firewood hack

This is probably the wrong place but I wanted to share. Most of you know I like Dolmar chainsaw so this is ironically funny. 3/8 lp comparison .043 vs .050

I was talked into getting a 3/8lp .050 over the .043 picco because I would get more chain life. I know out of the box the .050 did not impress me. Hopefully a sharpening will smooth this out. I fear my 192 just doesn't have the power to pull it we shall see. What do you think?

How to cause a vapor lock?

What causes a vapor lock? Is it something a person can re create? As I understand it is mainly heat So run the saw like I stole it. 90+ degree day. Shut it off in a cut. Let it sit in sun for 15 min. Will this cause a vapor lock. I am really interested and would like a better understanding...

    Homemade pickaroon

So I really wanted to try one of these but nobody locally carried any. Well except one shop but I didn't like it. So I grabbed some scrap steel and an old handle. Over the process I realized that not all hook designs worked as well as some. Some would stick so well that I couldn't get them to...

1 saw, two saw, three saw, oh no!

Last year I decided I needed a small light saw. My hands and shoulders are showing the beatings they took over the years. So I went out and got a little Stihl 192 rear handle. And my hands and shoulders rejoiced. My 029 was being left behind just because I dreaded having to use it so I used my...
