Climber leader, management, advancement, opportunity desired

I'm contemplating selling my farm and moving to a place cooler like Colorado. I have been in trees since 1982 and have tried it on my own underfunded since 2006. Our market is too rural and also flooded with tree topping hacks who simply work for beer money. I would like to know if there is...

    Hypoxoylon canker

I've been noticing many of our oaks dead and many more dying from this lately! I think its due to the recent droughts, wondering if our neighbors are experiencing the same. Its to an alarming degree and by that I mean many. I went and looked at 12 dead today in a four acre area but in the woods...

    Any idea what its worth?

I'm thinking of parting with my TW6 because firewood here is too cheap. I have split around 60 cords with it and it has a little wear but nothing terrible. I gave 9.500 for it 3 years ago just don't know what a fair price would be and I also need to split whats left in my woodyard before selling...

Ok so please don't respond if your too young to remember

I'm holding a grudge for 30 years that upsets me daily each time i use a fuel can! These contraption now that pass for fuel cans are ridiculous in my opinion. The safety one is the worst design for anything ever, what's safe about a can that leaks if tumped over in the back of a truck ? Ok...

I cut a twig in cross section and could not see any noticeable staining. All but a very few leafs are crispy brown and the twiglets snap with ease. The leafs are brown...

    Saw stolen

Last night I confronted a trespasser that said he was bringing his nephew or brother gas and took the wrong road. I was a bit hostile but not overly just told the sob he passed a gate and two posted signs and stearnly said you best not ever make that mistake again. He not only did that but...

Well arborist game just for fun

I was thinking with such a wealth of knowledge and experience we could start a game on topics related to our practice. A question and answer game if you will and after sufficiently answering one topic we could move to the next by someone posting another quiz type question. I have to admit it is...

    Anyone else try this?

I am sick of the expense of stumper teeth. I had a set that were getting badly worn and had a medium sized job 40 stumps to knock out. I knew with dull teeth it would be quite a bit longer than I wanted it to take. Hmmmmmmmmm I have a decent ac,dc arc welder and some 7018 rods :monkey: I welded...
