Well I guess you could call that a flippy cap but it ain’t nothing like the over complicated Stihl flippy caps. I have operated some stuff with the Stihl flippy caps I supposed after you get used to it they ain’t so bad but I highly prefer a cap like Husqvarna uses, the flip up part makes a nice...
Well the person I talk to at the dealership seemed to know plenty but not what I really needed to know, showed a basket with about 5 different filters that supposedly fit the 562, one filter looked a lot like the one my saw came with they wanted $25 for that one. They didn’t seem to have any...
Once per season definitely wouldn’t be enough for my use. My old Husqvarna 61 air filter is still original but it’s also much easier to clean than the 562 filter. I’m probably going to stop by the dealer today and ask about a new filter and see what they recommend.

I own a Husqvarna 562XP, bought it new about 5 years ago. I’m curious about whats the recommended way to clean the air filter ? Or how often it should be replaced ?

I’m not a logger but do tighten the chain when ever it seems loose, usually check it when refilling the gas-oil or sharpening . Tightening a couple times per day seems pretty normal for me.
I’ve owned a 400 for about 5 years, lightweight, easy to start, not to loud, pretty economically priced , it’s a nice saw for small jobs but if I was buying a new small saw it would probably be battery powered.
Yea learned the lesson about not setting a saw on a dozer track from a neighbor who unfortunately learned it the hard way about all he said was dam that was the best saw I ever owned.
I have the exact same Husqvarna 61 bought new in about 1981, the biggest issue it ever had was the coils went bad once and were expensive to replace. When the clutch wore out I bought a nice used clutch for $10 from local dealer. Also because the saw was Pretty old and had so many hours on it I...
