    Hardy H2

Like stated above there is most likely a way, but I can’t imagine a solution that’s simpler than unplugging it. That’s what I do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

What do you have for a trash saw/truck saw?

An old rebuilt 026 that smokes like a freight train thanks to a leaking oiler. It never fails to crank and cut though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    MS 361 Rebuild Help

I like to use compressed air, then simple green and water to clean the exterior. If you truly want to detail the saw I do not know of any way to do it besides breaking it down. It's not worth it to me considering gunk will be right back in the hard to reach places the first time you use it. Is...

    Looking to buy a owb

Check out hardy heaters. Some people love them some hate them as with any boiler. You can buy a gasser or non gasser from them. Reasonably priced. I have had good luck with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Stihl firewood Saw

For scrounging the 261 is gonna be hard to beat. It will pull any of the bars you have no problem with .325 chain. The 241 is gonna be more restrictive to bar size, but a wonderful saw for small stuff. 362s are odd ducks, to be honest I don't have much for one since everything I encounter can be...

    Pics of owb while BURNING!

It will accept 3 foot logs, holds 100 gallons of water. I like it.

    owb advice

No doubt Hardy's smoke like a fright train when they kick off! Maybe it's the content of sodium in the water in some places that make these things crack at the welds. I am regularly around 6 of these things. The only one I have ever seen spring a leak did so at around 25 years of age.

It's a hardy, factory built. I heat 2800 sq ft plus DHW. It's one of their smaller heaters at 120,000 btu. It's plenty big for my needs I'm not sure what the maximum sq footage it could handle would be.

I heat my house, 2800 sq ft and DHW, not the garage. When temps range from the upper 20's to the upper 30's I can get 14-16 hour burns with good wood about 12 with junk. If temps are in the single digits and teens I get about 12 hours on good wood.

    owb advice

It certainly isn't as cold in northern MS as it gets on the great tundra of Missouri but we definitely have our share of below freezing weather. I'm sorry you have had bad luck out of Hardy Heaters. We have had many years of reliable service out of them and a good relationship with the company...

Going to buy a OWB, EPA or no?

It looks and sounds like condensation to me. The only one I've seen that was leaking, you could actually hear the water sizzle when it hit the fire. Also large amounts of steam and condensation were present in the fire box at all times.

Going to buy a OWB, EPA or no?

Yep I bet shipping one of those bad boys would be pretty expensive. We are fortunate to live about three hours from the factory, so if need be we just drive em down. As far as the warranty goes, they let it be known upfront that I would be responsible for getting it back to them for warranty...

Going to buy a OWB, EPA or no?

@HardyBurner35 When you first fire up a hardy they will sweat like a madman for a few months give or take depending on how often the blower kicks on. My heater did the exact same thing as in your picture for the first few months of its life. Also in warm weather when I'm only heating hot water...

Going to buy a OWB, EPA or no?

I can say first hand that Hardy has always honored their warranty to the letter with me and my family. We deal directly with the folks at the factory. Also worth noting, all my family members who own Hardy's have gotten well over ten years service out of our units. One has been burning 365 days...

A lot of factors will determine how long your boiler will last. The company I deal with is very honest and good about honoring their products warranty, this also varies among companies.
