Yeah I've used it for making weldments to make up the measured drawings beats having to design it from scratch in your head! Awesome job Steve!!!

Yeah I think nowadays I would have also designed the splitter rebuild in CAD since I have access to the software being able to see the parts and make measured drawings is awesome when your putting it together.

Yes having CAD skills is great to have. I have fusion360 at home and some other ones as well but I mainly use NX because we have the subscription at work. I designed the second chicken run I built in CAD and it's nice to visualize what your putting together.

Thank you Brett. Yes wasn't to crazy we just went to my SILs for dinner but it was informal everyone had sweatpants on and just hung out watching movies. It was well needed after classes. I'm going to try and get Christmas lights up tomorrow before classes resume. I've been burning here as I...

Thank you kindly. So far I have been able to meet the requirements of my classes. I have standing As in both. As a result though the time I would normally have for freetime is going toward completing assignments. My wife usually heads to bed around 7 so I have into the evening to get my...

Good evening everyone, Been awhile but I haven't forgot about anyone. Between caring for my wife and I have went back to college to get my degree in product development for CAD design and engineering. The hope is when my wife's health declines I will be able to work from home to care for her...

You would have thought there would have been a point in the build where he would have been like 🤔 this thing is getting quite dangerous for the amount of effort im putting into this thing. For the amount of steel and the expensive components that are in that thing he could have built one heck...

Id imagine if you get something up there with the cost it takes to bring it in from the states it has to have multiple functions and abilities for multiple jobs and readily easy to get parts. Id imagine anything that only is good for one thing up there either is not bought in the first place or...

Both of those Look awesome KK. All the wood working and the log arch. The logging arch I could do from my proffession. That intricate wood working would take me a bit. My BIL wants to get into the grandburg milling. He has some wood that I would call not the most desirable for milling. But ill...

Im going to have to look into one of those pole saws slash loppers here soon. I have a honey locust that im pretty sure you identified by picture here a number of years ago that a ton of it cracked off in a storm. It was all messed up I went up with a big extension ladder and the P 41 and...

I think one of the chains that I had posted a couple months back that I thought was a version of safety chain you told me was in fact vibration reducing. I as well bored with it and had good results.

My Pioneer P28 has .325 on it and I actually like it allot. Its the only saw I have in that configuration. Maybe its just me but it seems like it has less vibration than my 3/8 in the same type of chain. I don't seem to mind the safety chain on the limbing saws. I have the two small Poulan 2300...

What type of fitting do you have there that goes into the tree? I have 2 Maples in my front yard I wouldn't mind giving it a shot. Do you just get everything you need at TSC? And what time is the right time of year to drill and tap them.
