    Pennsylvania insurance and license

Where are you located? I'm in the King of Prussia area (southeast PA). I use C.H. Bonnet for my business insurance, they're a broker and looked around to find me the best quote. You need at least $1,000,000 of liability insurance for most government contracts, and Inland Marine insurance for...

Rayco 1635 track Jr electric clutch issues

Hey everybody, I have a 2010 Rayco 1635 Track Jr with an electric clutch that is having some issues. In the middle of cutting a stump the clutch will disengage, it will continue disengaging every time the wheel makes contact with the stump until after about 10 minutes of fighting with it the...

    Thoughts on Bandit 12xpc Gas?

Looking at a new chipper for our trimming crew, and my dealer recommended a Bandit 12xpc with a gas engine. I had a gas chipper nearly 25 years ago that was a dog and have only had Diesels since, but I’ve been hearing more and more about the new Gassers. Any pros-cons/likes-dislikes would be...

    Knuckle Boom Hydraulic Grapple

I have an International 4700 with a National N65A that we use for loading logs. Currently we use heavy duty slings to load the logs, but it is fairly time consuming and dangerous. My crane has extra hydraulics already, but I can't find just the grapple, without the whole boom also. Anyone know...

    Rayco RG45 vs Carlton 5014

Hey guys, I'm buying a stump grinder soon and want to know if anyone has any experience with the Rayco RG45? I'm going to get a track model no matter which brand I go with. The Racyo seems like a good machine and has more options, so I'm leaning towards that. On the other hand the Carlton is...

    Log Truck Questions

Thats a nice deal, where did you find it? I've been looking online and haven't been able to find a site that sells medium duty trucks with knuckle booms, and the few I've seen were WAY too expensive.

    Log Truck Questions

I think 5-7 ton should be enough, my father had one years ago and rarely had removals where it wasn't large enough, and even in that situation they would just cut them to a smaller size. I need something that can fit into tight back yards, so I don't want anything too big.

    Log Truck Questions

Hi guys, I'm looking at getting a log loading knuckle boom truck this winter (probably a medium duty international, only going to load 3-4 large logs at a time) and had some questions. If I were to buy the truck used and mount a knuckleboom, how much would the installation be? I'm thinking a 5-7...
