I got on out of a dealer scrap pile. I pulled the limiter caps and it tuned right in. I'm guessing it was replaced under warranty.

Home in South Dakota. Again thanks to Mark and Nathan and Mrs. H for everything. When we left Cedar Falls I had to use a snow brush and made a few snowballs. BTW Panther fried omelet went down good.

Cedar fall parts store show they have on hand. This sensor is a huge pain to get to. I'll go with a never ever worked (new) part. The sensor tests bad so hopefully it is the issue. Thanks to Mark we have a warm place to camp and work. I will never be able to thank him enough.

Make sure you have the impulse hole open between the carb and cylinder. The new gasket should have a small hole lined up with the small hole in the carburetor.

I just found a parts saw to build my e start saw. Thinking of hookingthe wires up to a dock for my cordless drill battery.

Doese the chainbrake show signs of melting in to the case. I have seen alot of these that the brake drags then melts into the case and finaly locks up completly. The fix is to throw away the saw and buy another saw.
Rihm Kenworth also has moved from University Avenue as well. They are one of the oldest KW dealers in the country. They split into two new locations. I am guessing university AVE will see a major facelift in the next few years or become a ghost town.

There was an excellent post by a member a few years back that had pictures. Gary had the whole thing step by step. Photo bucket has since taken away pictures but if you search the Web for hl rebuild maybe it is available elsewhere. He posted the same several places. Also check u tube. Take care...
Well we will have fun with out you all and post pictures to remind you you missed it. Especially the might mite races.

Edwin just remember that during the Mighty might races. Carl, struggle and I never have gotten to put our Mighty Mights head to head. We were rained out last year. Maybe a few more want to blow the dust off their MM and join the fun.
Every one I have worked on had loose pan bolts. The cylinder was just floating. Huge air leak. Just tighten the bolts and they can be tuned. Have to pull apart and reseal the pan to fix right.
