Heck of a lot of saw for the $$$

bill I never said $200 did I? No offense was meant- I ended up paying 300 for a mint CP all OEM saw..... I really do appreciate your offer. Solid saw and a fair price on your end! These 55’s are more a sentimental toy for me..... thus wanting a cream puff for my final build :)

you think the only way I find one w nicer plastics is new in box? That’s a solid saw- I’m looking for something w brighter plastics... I’ve got a few 55 saws in similar condition..... and his price is fine. Just not what I’m looking for.

It fires right up after primed with the prime lever. But then runs outa fuel. Carb will need gone through and likely new fuel line. I may build better exhaust for this saw..... little short pipe off the muff. it sounds awesome :)

long as I don’t have to carry the saw to the log..... may be easier to carry the log to the saw :dizzy:

I’d try to disclose the cylinder shape- at least pull plug and shine light through to inspect exh side of cylinder with piston at BDC. My bet is it’s scored looking at the front of that piston. Not trying to shoot down a sell for ya- but that’s a lot of dough :)

anybody run one of these toads? I’ve had this in my overflow saw trailer- loads of compression but needs carb gone through etc. do they run with the torque to justify the boat anchor like weight?

Dang that looks like a deep score on that piston- same markings on cylinder?
