What's Hittin' the Grill or Smoker?

I bought my custom smoker for 25 bucks. Client wAnted it gone so I took it off his hands. Only burn live oak in it. Works just fine and I'm loving the taste. Yes I'm cheap. Example: 1-Wood free 2-Fire free 3-All money goes to meat. 4-Oh energy efficiency lol. But I do wonder which one cooks...

    661 vs 390/395xp

Heck yeah Trust me you need to run 395 little rich in the highs regardless. I paid dearly for not doing it to my first 395.

    Shindawa 358ts

Well let me clearly express my apologies and give you my experience with echo. First just because it's made by echo doesn't mean it is made with the same specifications. Being that there is copy rights and rnd that are specific to each brand blah blah blah etc etc. If YAMABIKO owns echo or...

    661 vs 390/395xp

I'm bucking oaks all day almost everyday. I have never cut a cookie ever in my life. My chains looks like they fell into a volcano at the end of the day. I have learned that there is no place for brands. At the end its all about getting the job done and productivity. The weight difference you...

    "cheap" versus expensive climbing saws

There is no comparison. The good one I tested was the stihl 192. They don't make then anymore. Don't buy a used one. But if you want a cheap saw forget about the 193. Get a shindawa 358TS. I got to test the shindawa. Not a bad starter saw and has good power. Will get the job done and make money...

    661 vs 390/395xp

I had my the shop I bought it at tune the high just a little more richer. Just to be on the safe side. I blew my first 395 because I didn't set the high rich. So be aware guys. The stihl 661 glue a horse shoe on it and hang a rabid foot on the handle.

    Shindawa 358ts

Well my local shop gave me a great deal to try out the shindawa 358 top handle climbibg saw. I fell for the same crab when he sold me a top handle echo. Echo garbage. I got this groundsman guy that I don't know how destroys every saw he tries. Lightbold came on and decided to take her for a test...

    661 vs 390/395xp

Other thing I haven't seen in this thread is the fact the 661 includes bar the 395 doesn't when buying a new one. I don't use stihl nor (husqvarna )Oregon bars on my big saws. Love the Yellow stihl chains tho.

    661 vs 390/395xp

I fell for this stihl horse poo This thread cost me to over pay for a 661. Overrated and totally unmatched to compare it to a 395 is just onsane. Now I own 2 395xp and I paid 11 hundred for each. Including my two 28" bars(live in fl.) Don't get me wrong I love my stihl 200t and my 261cm oh and...
