    Brush Bandit 90xp module(?) settings?

Not sure why the photo is rotated, but, yeah, rocker switch. The owner is insosting that switches don't go bad... so, whatever, I guess. I'm getting paid whether the chipper is functioning or not ;] Thanks for the reply!

    Brush Bandit 90xp module(?) settings?

Not sure if I'm using the correct term, but, does anyone have an idea or know for a fact what the module factory default settings are? There are 3 dials, marked left to right, "D" "/" "Gain".. the module is a "Barber Colman Company" part. The problem we're having is, when the run/high speed...

    Ethanol-free gas

In regards to this, I could have worded my initial question better. Where you had responded with concerns for my health and harm done to me by the fumes, which, by the way, I appreciate, but the intent of my inquiry was to find out if there could be harm done to my saw by running too pure of a...

    Ethanol-free gas

And that's even with the low lead fuel? I'm assuming that's what the LL meant when you said 100LL.

    Ethanol-free gas

Sorry, I didn't se this post til just now, wasn't meaning to ignore you. I'm not sure, but when I told them it was for chainsaw use, immediately told me it's the best you can use. $4.25/gal.

    Ethanol-free gas

I just called up there, they said that it's perfect for a chainsaw, and "the fumes don't bother me at all." I'm in the dark on the matter, but, where you are saying 100 isn't good to run, what octane is the highest you would run? Most of the premix I've ever seen is 92-93..

    Ethanol-free gas

Is there an octane that is too high and shouldn't run in my saws? The only place near me is 100 octane aviation fuel from the airport.

    ms461 bar/chain combos

My work runs round grind, and once you get a feel for a hand file, it goes quick. I can run through the ground saws and climbing saws in 15 - 20 minutes. If you cut a lot and need to sharpen throughout the day, a grinder in the shop or home or where ever can be nice, just sharpen a few loops so...

    ms461 bar/chain combos

Haha, thanks. I asked the saw shop here if they sharpen square ground chains, and they said, "yeah, but it'll be round ground when I get it back."

    ms461 bar/chain combos

To be honest, I'm in northern CA, and I've never run an 8 pin sprocket on my saws. I'm interested to try one now. But I've always been more than satisfied with a 7 pin and a 32" full skip chain.

    ms461 bar/chain combos

I use a 7 on mine. Those chains you're talking about ordering, they are square ground. Make sure you'll have a way to sharpen them, or to have them sharpened. Can be done by hand with these files.. and I've been told, "once you throw the chain on a grinder, you can no longer handfile them." No...

    I run a 32" with 36RSLF, and a 25" with 33RSLF on my 461, and a 28" with 33RSLF on my 440. 33 - 3/8" .050" 36 - 3/8" .063" Full skip Square grind

    Teach me please!!

Been using the bosses 390xp with a 32" full skip, and it's a bit disappointing compared to my 461 with aftermarket muffler and max flow. I'm in northern CA, run a 25" and 32" on the 461, a 28" on my 440... I do square grind my own chains, though..
