    2-Stroke Mix Oil

The Schaeffer's? All I know is the guy that recommended it said has ran it for umpteen years with no issues. I do believe it says for saws in the fine print.

    2-Stroke Mix Oil

Schaeffer's 7000 at 32:1. Red armor ran fine at 40:1 and I've ran muereyama?? at 40:1. Since getting a ported 7910 I've switched everything to Schaeffer's 7000 at the builders suggestion.

How do I get.the flywheel off?? 371 xp

That should be all that's needed. Clean the stub with carb cleaner/acetone before you install the new flywheel. The key is integral to the flywheel on those models. That will set your timing

How do I get.the flywheel off?? 371 xp

There should be a washer behind the nut.

No sir. A puller is best but the way I described works also.

How do I get.the flywheel off?? 371 xp

Thread the nut most of the way back on, I usually try to leave the socket on it, hold the flywheel with a pair of pliers and smack the socket with a hammer. Usually comes off in a couple whacks.

    Makita 6100

Left hand threads on the clutch. No puller needed.

I got the Makita 6401 upgrade itch.

I say go for it. My favorite saw, started life as a 6401,now a 7910 that Tree Monkey had his way with.

My 350 husky hits a speed bump

I asked a similar question over there and was told a 346 top end was the way to go on these. OEM was around $100 I believe. As far as getting the bolts out, I think get it hot, put a socket Allen in it and smack it with a hammer a couple times then try to break it loose.

    Shipping saws

I usually ship UPS or FedEx as I haven't had good luck with the PO. Make sure it's drained of fuel and oil and I usually wrap the power head in a trash bag. The smallest box you can safely put everything in is the best and as others have said bars need to go in cardboard even if you have to make...

    Is she mad?

My 2 pro saws stay in the house. They get blown off usually within a day of last use if not the same day. I have filed chain on the kitchen table with newspaper under it to catch the filings. I have a great wife.

8 pin on an Echo 590

May or may not help but I don't think it'll hurt. These types threads are the ones I like best. I appreciate all you guys that take the time to test different stuff.

8 pin on an Echo 590

7 definitely held RPM better but to me it sounds fat. Not 4 stroking in the cut fat but slightly fat. Could be the video sound I'm hearing also.

    My MS461 Project

Get a dual port cover for it from an 046/460. Direct swap and cheap. That and the timing advance does wake it up a bit.

Found a Jonsered CS2152C in the trash!

$45 for a 2152........ Sounds like a good deal to me. I'd pull the muffler and look at the piston and probably put a little mix through the carb just to see if it will try and run first. If it checks out probably needs to go in the you suck thread.

    Dominant piston v4 tight squish

I believe they have started to bevel the exhaust side like that. I think the intake side skirt is shorter also. Reason I say that is a guy on YouTube has a deal going with dominant and the pistons he was showing were like that. Ironhorse is his channel.

Ms380 she needs a little tlc and to beat the crap out of my brothers johnsered turbo

Are you sure it's not a ms390? Carb and muffler pictures sure look like it to me. If so you're gonna have a hard time beating up on the jonsered no matter what you do to it.
