Up for sale is a blown up 365 Husqvarna. Looks to have been straight gassed. I sourced a used 372 xt cylinder and used piston but also have a brand new meteor and cabers. The case was cleaned and put together with Koyo bearings and oem gasket. It does not have seals installed yet and I don't...
So here's my question. Is it ok to reuse a crank that was in a straight gassed saw? There is no discoloration on either end and there isn't any play up and down. I can however move the little end of the rod diagonally and get movement.

Anyone know what to clean old sealant off of clammys? I've used carb cleaner, brake cleaner and (old)acetone with not much success. It softens it but doesn't really get it off. It's gray so not dirko. Moto seal maybe.
So I have a ms310 with a scored up piston. Saw still runs good but I picked up a huztl 390 short block for when it dies. Is there anything I need to do to the new motor other than bolt it in and go? Aside from tuning and break-in that is. Thanks and I'm new to here and saw tinkering for the most...
