    Value of Cedar

I have a few of these trees on my property, one of which recently blew over during a storm. Being aware of how valuable walnut trees are,:) I figured I'd ask about these.

    Vibrating Blower

I bought a new Echo PB-755 last weekend during the yearly 15% off sale. Didn't run it at the dealer and just took it home. When I used it shortly after, it felt like a vibrator on my back. In a few minutes of operation, my whole back was tingling and itching. At half throttle, it felt like it...

    Stihl TS360 Concrete Saw

Do these share any parts with any Stihl chainsaws? I have access to one with a broken handle but the compression feels very strong.

    Husqvarna 61/272 Fuel Tank

I cracked the tank on my 61 today and am wanting to hear some opinions on the aftermarket tanks available on Ebay. Apparently, HL Supply or Baileys doesn't carry them, and that may be a bad sign.

    550XP on CraigsList

I think he's too high. I guess I need to go look at it and pull the muffler. What should I offer if the top end is toast? https://winstonsalem.craigslist.org/grd/d/siloam-550xp-husqvarna/6783604482.html

    365 X-TORQ Question

Bought this on Craigslist a while back but hadn't used it much until today. I had to turn the high speed screw out to get it 4 stroking like I want to hear. How lean are these supposed to be from the factory? I've always wanted a high top cover on a saw but they can't be had for my older saws...

    McCulloch 250

Ran across this today. Seems complete and not broken up, pull rope is out so couldn't check the engine. Mainly looking for input on this. How desirable is it? Any collector value?

Need part for a 041 Stihl

I acquired a 041 today, has what feels like good compression, a strong spark and the fuel tank reeks of stale gas. Only thing I see wrong, is the handle bracket on the top is broken. Anybody have one?

    Zama Qestion

This hardly qualifies as a chainsaw but didn't know where else to put this, so here it is. Rebuilt the carb on a 136 Husqvarna today and to get it to run properly, the high speed needle has to be 1 3/4 turns out. The low speed is probably 1 1/4 out. Like this, it starts, runs, and idles as it...

Want to Buy Brake Band Nut for Metal Lever Husqvarna

Started to thread this onto the band, and it fell apart right down the middle. Would be easy enough to make if I knew what the threads are and I had a tap. It's too big for 4 mm, too small for 5mm. Anyone have one or more of these they're willing to part with? Part number 501831001.

Source for new Husqvarna brake bands # 501 830 201

I started a thread a while back looking for part # 501 830 201 which is NLA from Husqvarna. Anyway, a member here, romad10, contacted me wanting to know if I still needed one. I paid him and two days later I had it. It was the correct thickness and length, and to me looked as good as the factory...

    Jacks Small Engines

I placed an order with them on 5/10 and some of the items had to come from Husqvarna which I understood up front, and was willing to wait. Sunday evening 5/21, I got an order update email informing me that everything was there except for one item, and it would be in stock on 5/25. I have a saw I...

Old Saw Brought Back to Life

Went with a guy recently to look at a tractor and near it was this old 281XP. Was missing some parts and had been left for dead so I bought it, and took it home. It now has new Nachi crank bearings, oem seals and a new oem 288XP piston and cylinder. I opened up the muffler some and along with...

Want to Buy Part inside Husqvarna 281/288 Chain Brake Cover

Need the cover over the spring along with the screws. Part # 503575201. I know it's a long shot, but thought I'd see if someone has a broken cover with the part I need.

    Husqvarna 281 Fuel Line Question

This saw was made in 87 and uses part # 501814601 which is NLA and google can't find one anywhere. I'm not familiar with these saws, and don't want to dump a bunch of money into it getting it running before knowing if a later fuel line will work, or can be made to work somehow. Can anyone help?

    Aftermarket anti viberation mounts.

They are a lot cheaper. Are the OK or should I bite the bullet and get OEM?

    281XP Question

Anyone know why there are two different cylinder assemblies offered for these saws? Ran across one of these today, looks pretty rough and stuck. Guess if you were going to buy a cylinder though, one from a 288 would be a better choice. Is that the largest that will fit? Copied and pasted from...

61 Air Filter Assembly on a 272XP Conversion

Will this restrict the airflow with the larger displacement and carburetor?

    Who Made This Cylinder

It's OEM Husqvarna but somehow, I was expecting it to come from Germany.
