The Hyway cylinder has relatively high exhaust en transfer duration. So it revs pretty high :) That's also why it runs better with some extra advance...

My 372 ran verry good stock (hyway P/C). But I advanced the stock setting with 10 degrees and now she has much more throttle respons and feels more powerfull. WOT = 12.500 rpm

I got answer from Farmertec. They asked their engineer. The ignition modules are fixed timing. I tought it would, cause my 372 fired right at TDC. I advanced the timing and boy the saw got nervous and notice a significant increase in power. Now it's a beast!

Sounds verry lean... have you tried opening the H screw?

does somebody know and/or tested if the farmertec ignition modules have variable advance setting? Or as cheap they are, are they fixed advance? Thanks!

I don't think you will find aftermarket cylinder/piston for the 670. I would start with checking the squish of your top-end to see if you can run it without base gasket. the idea is getting some more compression. In general the Echo's mufflers are quite restricted, so open it up would decrease...

- ignition is different ( 600p has 3 advance stages and the 620p has 4 advance stages at different ranges of each other) - carb is different ( Walbro HDA 268 for the 600 and Walbro HDA 316 for the 620) - cylinder timing and porting is different - compression ratio is a little less on the 600...

Did you check the setting of the metering lever? The end of the lever should be flush with the carburetor deck. If fuel leaks out by putting the saw on her side, it means the needle doesn't close tight even if the lever is at full upper position on the metering diaphragm.

Just bcause we love pictures, here some of my Huztl 372. Same build: Huztl kit, hyway/meteor pc, oem decomp. Oh yes, and oem decals :D ( they only are a few € at the official dealer)

I was quite surpised with the quality of the crank. It had just the right amount of side play. I was surpised because the crank on the 372 I build had much more play...

Some parts that were missing in the kit: 2 rubber seals are missing and even can't find them on the Huztl website. So maybe they should ad them on the kit: where the ignition wires passes the case: the seal between the carb compensator and the air filter: I ordered them on Sagenspezi, will...
