It does not have tail lights, but it is perfectly legal in Kansas to tow. I cannot recall for sure on the wheel bearings. But, I think, it has sealed bearings just like my pop up camper.

I agree. And I assume I am the rare one who does tow it maybe 200 miles on gravel roads over the winter to cut and split, but that is what I purchased it for. Maybe no one else has had this problem, but this is my second tank leaking from the same spot.

Yes. They will sell me the part for $184, 2.5 months out of warranty and I am asking them to cover the part as I've had the exact same issue before. And it failed during the warranty period I just drug my feet over the summer when it was in storage.

Where the motor mounts are welded to the tank. The original tank started leaking in the exact same spot. I'll see if i can post a pic of where.

Is anyone else having tank leakage problems? I have the 28ton model with a Kohler engine and love it, but I am on my second hydraulic tank and it has failed also.

my splitter has devolped a leak. it appears to be caused by mis-alignment. does anyone know if it's feaseable to replace the input shaft seal? the pump is a lower end barnes 2 stage with a 1/2" input shaft dia. thanks in advance bruce
